COURSE OVERVIEW
The Valor Faith, Safety, Security, and Readiness Course is designed to equip church safety and security teams with the mindset, knowledge, and practical skills necessary to prevent, prepare for, and respond to active threats and critical incidents in a faith-based environment.
This course emphasizes:

Situational awareness and threat recognition

Coordinated response during high-stress incidents

Life-saving medical actions

Post-incident recovery and continuity of operations

Stewardship, leadership, and legal considerations
NEW – Preliminary Site Assessment As part of this course, participants will receive guidance on conducting a Preliminary Site Assessment, including:

Identification of high-risk areas and access points

Evaluation of ingress and egress routes

Assessment of lighting, visibility, and crowd flow
-
Review of existing safety practices and emergency plans
-
Practical recommendations to enhance deterrence, response capability, and life safety
