Service Description

This 16 hour SRT Tactical readiness course is for non-swat patrol officers and SRO's wanted to enhance their tactical skills and build agency capabilities and officer confidence in response to critical incidents. The student will be able to demonstrate dynamic and threshold entry techniques during high-risk room clearing scenarios, maintaining proper angles, communication, and muzzle discipline across. The student will be able to able to apply structure tactics and high risk patrol entries. The student will be able to execute single and team-stack breaching protocols using mechanical, and ballistic tactics. The student will be able to analyze floor plan diagrams and identify optimal breach points, fatal funnels, and fields of fire during tabletop planning exercises with 90% accuracy. The student will be able to perform target discrimination making in a simulated high-risk entry scenario, correctly identifying threats and non-threats under time and stress constraints. The student will be able to integrate speed, surprise and violence of action into room entry sequences, coordinating timing and angles with team members during two simulated exercises. The student will be able to analyze pre-assault indicators and threat cues specific to high-risk vehicle environments by reviewing video footage and operational debriefs. The student will be able to demonstrate tactical positioning and cover discipline during mock vehicle assaults. The student will be able to apply communication protocols and team roles using standardized SRT hand signals and verbal commands during vehicle contact drills. The student will be able to execute coordinated approach techniques on stationary and occupied suspect vehicles, The student will be able to evaluate and articulate the legal, tactical, and ethical justifications for executing a high-risk entry in compliance with standard approved protocols and Texas state laws.
