Service Description
This 8 hour course will train officers to; Identify Potential Threats & Risks Recognize common threats on school buses, including assaults. Assess high-risk situations and determine appropriate response actions. Demonstrate Situational Awareness & Communication Effectively communicate with dispatch, and emergency response teams. Apply Tactical Response Overview of bus rescue and assault scenarios Importance of preparedness and rapid response Discussion and assessment of Real-life case studies Understanding Bus Security & Threats Hostage & Active Shooter Response Legal and procedural considerations Containment and perimeter security De-escalation techniques for violent passengers Tactical entry and approach Weapon threat assessment & neutralization strategies Contingency planning Negotiation tactics vs. immediate tactical intervention Practical Scenarios & Drills Simulated bus assault response Tactical approach & team coordination exercises De-escalation role-play scenarios Target Audience: Law enforcement, emergency responders, security personnel Objective: Train personnel to effectively respond to bus-related assaults and rescue operations. Equipment Required: Assigned Duty Gear | Ballistic Vest & Helmet | 100 rounds Non-Lethal Training Ammunition (NLTA)|Weapon & Light Systems | Pry Tools | Breaching Tools |Ballistic Shield | Eye and Ear Protection. This Bus Rescue | Assault Course will be taught by Valor Lead Trainer Ret. SWAT Commander Chief Juan Gonzalez.
