Service Description

COURSE OVERVIEW This 16 hour course is designed to provide law enforcement personnel with the knowledge and practical skills required to plan and execute dignitary protection operations. Officers will gain a deep understanding of threat assessment, protective formations, motorcade operations, and contingency planning. The curriculum emphasizes real-world application for law enforcement tasked with protecting elected officials, executives, and visiting dignitaries in local, state, or international settings. COURSE OBJECTIVES -Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: -Define the mission and scope of dignitary protection within a law enforcement context. -Identify and assess potential threats to dignitaries or protected persons. -Develop and implement a protection plan including advance work, site surveys, and route planning. -Demonstrate proper protective formations and movement techniques. -Conduct motorcade operations with emphasis on safety, communication, and contingency maneuvers. -Coordinate with intelligence, tactical, and patrol units for integrated protection responses. -Apply protective response protocols during simulated attacks or emergencies. -Understand the legal, ethical, and liability aspects of protective assignments. -Conduct live fire drills -Conduct RBT scenarios with force-on-force gear -Demonstrate direct and indirect threat care protocols during RBT REQUIRED EQUIPMENT -Duty gear with protective concealable vest/Outer Carrier -Communication earpiece / radio (if available) -Training weapons (blue guns) -Unmarked Vehicles for training if available -Note-taking materials -200 Rounds Handgun -100 Rounds Rifle (SBR/Collapsible) Preferred -Ear and Eye Protection -IWB/OWB Level II Holster - Two magazine holders -IFAK -Ballistic Shield This course is taught by Valor Lead Trainer: Ret.
