Service Description
Learning Objectives; Instructional Competence -Demonstrate the ability to plan, organize, and conduct (CQB) instruction consistent with agency policy, safety protocols, and TCOLE standards. -Apply adult learning principles to enhance student performance, retention, and confidence in CQB training environments. -Conduct effective safety briefings, live-fire range operations, and scenario-based training in a controlled and professional manner. Tactical Knowledge -Define and explain modern CQB principles, terminology, and doctrine used in law enforcement tactical operations. -Identify key differences between law enforcement CQB and military-style operations, emphasizing safety, and mission-specific goals. -Analyze team roles, formations, and communication protocols during single- and multi-operator room entries. Applied Skills Development -Demonstrate proficiency in dynamic room entry techniques, hall and multi-room clearance. -Conduct live-fire and force-on-force drills that reinforce tactical movement, target discrimination, and threat engagement under stress. -Apply sound judgment in use-of-force decision-making during CQB engagements, in alignment with agency policy and legal standards. Instructor-Level Evaluation & Feedback -Conduct student teach-backs to evaluate performance, safety, and instructional effectiveness. -Utilize standardized evaluation checklists to assess CQB proficiency and instructional delivery. -Provide structured, constructive feedback that enhances future student performance and instructor development. Tactical Integration and Operational Planning -Develop a CQB lesson plan or training block for agency use, including risk assessment, course layout, and equipment checklist. -Coordinate with command staff to integrate CQB training into broader agency tactical readiness plans. -Demonstrate leadership and decision-making skills under simulated operational conditions, including communication, command, and after-action review (AAR) procedures. Safety and Legal Foundations -Reinforce safety fundamentals in all CQB training environments, including live-fire, simulation, and practical exercises. -Identify liability cons Equipment required: Assigned duty gear, ballistic gear, ballistic shield, weapon systems, light systems, 250 rounds (simunition) NLTA for handgun and rifle. We will provide NLTA and conversion kits for scenario training. 100 rounds handgun/rifle. Trainers : Valor Instructor Cadre.
