Service Description
Learning Objectives: 1. Armored Vehicle Deployment -Students will identify the roles and operational capabilities of armored rescue vehicles (ARVs) during tactical operations. -Students will demonstrate safe mounting, dismounting, and team deployment procedures from armored vehicles under varying threat conditions. 2. Operator Safety & Positioning -Students will explain and demonstrate proper body positioning, cover utilization, and muzzle awareness when operating in and around armored vehicles. 3. Push & Pull Tactics -Students will demonstrate coordinated push and pull tactics to move officers, shields, or victims into and out of the armored vehicle while maintaining security and communication. 4. Gun Port Shooting -Students will demonstrate accurate and safe engagement through armored vehicle gun ports, including target discrimination, muzzle control, and proper angles of fire when firing from a stationary or moving armored vehicle. 5. Window Porting Techniques -Students will demonstrate proper window porting and breaking techniques for observation, access, distraction, or weapon deployment. -Students will identify hazards associated with glass, fragmentation, and exposure. 6. Vehicle Assault Tactics -Students will explain roles, timing, responsibilities, and communication requirements during a vehicle assault using an armored platform. -Students will apply principles of movement, suppression, and officer placement during a controlled vehicle assault scenario. 7. Team Communication & Coordination -Students will demonstrate effective radio and verbal communication while deploying from or operating around the armored vehicle. -Students will coordinate actions with the entry team, shield operators, snipers/overwatch, and command personnel. 8. Live-Fire Skills from the ARV -Students will safely conduct live-fire drills simulating deployment from the armored vehicle, including engagement from standing, kneeling, and port-firing positions. -Students will successfully complete accuracy and safety performance standards using 200 rounds handgun and 100 rounds rifle. 9. Scenario-Based Applications Students will participate in a scenario integrating deployment, movement, porting with APC. Audience: SWAT Operators Only Duration: 8 Hours Equipment: 200 rounds handgun, 100 rounds rifle, 100 rounds NLTA rifle, eye, ear protection, breaching tools, 40 MM & munitions.
