Undercover Operations Rescue Course

This 16 hour course will train officers assigned to specialized units on undercover rescue operations, rescues from inside and outside vehicles, threat priorities, use of vehicle dynamics, rescue team approaches, tactical medicine, live fire range exercises, high-risk extraction tactics, force-on-force scenarios, use of ballistic shields for rescues, pin and push tactics for jump-out vehicles, identifying risk assessments and tactical undercover operations planning. Equipment needed: Weapon systems, assigned gear, ballistic shield, 200 rounds handgun, 200 rounds rifle, eye and ear protection, 100 rounds of NLTA and kits for force-on-force scenarios. Limited NLTA kits will be available. This course will combine classroom lectures, debriefings, and live fire range exercises to better meet the needs of the students.
