Service Description

The Intermediate Crime Scene Investigation Course (TCOLE #2106) is one of the TCOLE-mandated Intermediate Core Courses required for Texas peace officers seeking to earn their Intermediate Peace Officer Proficiency Certificate. COURSE OBJECTIVES Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to: ✔ Secure and protect a crime scene ✔ Conduct systematic crime scene searches ✔ Properly document evidence through notes, photography, and sketches ✔ Develop and recover latent fingerprints ✔ Collect, preserve, and package evidence ✔ Maintain chain of custody ✔ Recognize biological and DNA evidence ✔ Process electronic and digital evidence ✔ Conduct comprehensive crime scene investigations ✔ Apply investigative techniques during a simulated crime scene Course will be taught by Valor Instructor Cadre.
