High Risk Vehicle Engagements (VAT)
Service Description
This course will train officers how to tactically conduct high-risk vehicle stops, how to properly conduct vehicle tactical approaches, vehicle positioning, conduct standard stops, conduct angle stops, conduct corner stops, and apply the best tactics, techniques, protocols when engaging in vehicle assault tactics during high risk vehicle situations. This course will train officers on how to properly conduct front, rear, and column assaults on high-risk target vehicles. This course will train officers how to tactically "Get off the X". This course will train officers how to survive an ambush attack and how to fight from the vehicle. Additionally, this course trains officers how to properly use contact and cover tactics, effective tactical communication and subject control tactics. This course trains officers how to use apply medical adjuncts in a direct, and indirect care environment. Equipment required: Agency assigned gear. (i.e., ballistic gear, eye/ear protection, weapon systems, 200 rounds of handgun ammunition, 100 rounds of rifle ammunition, Handgun simunition kit & 100 NLTA (Optional). Open to local, county, state, federal.and Valor provides limited simunition kits for force-on-force scenarios. This course can be design to each agency needs.
